Follow-Up Assessment
In-person follow-up evaluations can be performed as a supplemental step in the ergonomic evaluation process. The follow-up evaluations are used to make adjustments to any new equipment, review on-site risk, make additional workstation adjustments if needed, obtain data points to track improvement, answer questions, and check on the status of any open issues. Follow-up evaluations are a great way to close out the evaluation process and ensure that all ergonomic risks have been eliminated.
Our in-person follow up assessments include:
- A check on recommended equipment that has been implemented
- Reinforcement of previously taught concepts
- Equipment adjustments
- Resolution of any other open issues
A telephonic follow-up can be performed in addition to an initial ergonomic evaluation to close out the evaluation process. A telephonic follow-up is a cost effective option that allows questions to be answered, open issues to be addressed, data to be collected for tracking improvement and for determination of if an additional on-site visit is necessary. This is the most simple and cost effective way to ensure that all ergonomic risks are addressed.
